Green campuses in the city

As part of its policy of societal and environmental transitions, the University of Bordeaux strives for a balance between the impact of human activities and environmental protection.

University of Bordeaux campus sites

  • Agen campus

    With its human scale, the Agen campus provides a reassuring transition between secondary school and higher education. Take advantage of the cultural offerings and the green environment of the Canal du Midi.

  • La Bastide campus

    On the right bank, in the heart of the Bordeaux-Bastide district, this campus is home to the University’s Department of Management Sciences (PUSG). Take the Pont de Pierre over the Garonne river to get to the campus and enjoy the most beautiful view of Bordeaux while there.

  • Carreire campus

    Just five minutes from the city centre, adjacent to the Bordeaux University Hospital (CHU), this campus is home to students in the health sector and numerous research laboratories.

  • Dax campus

    Close to the ocean, the Pyrenees and the Basque Country, the Dax campus is the ideal place to study and enjoy the great outdoors. You won't find a better place with a festive spirit to combine hiking, board sports and férias.

  • Montaigne-Montesquieu campus

    Served by tramway line B, this campus, which is currently being renovated, is dedicated to law, economics and management studies.

  • Peixotto campus and Bordes campus

    No less than 4 tram stops serve these two sprawling science campuses, which have lots of green spaces and recreational areas.

  • Périgord campus

    In the heart of a region with a rich historical and cultural heritage, the Périgord campus offers a high-quality living and study environment on a human scale, ideal for the transition between secondary school and higher education.

  • Rocquencourt campus

    Close to the Montaigne-Montesquieu campus, this campus is home to the University Institute of Technology at the Gradignan city limits as well as the Physical and Sporting Activity Faculty (STAPS) in Pessac.

  • Victoire campus

    In the heart of Bordeaux, this historical site is one of the city's most striking monuments, with its 19th century library in which 40 generations of students have studied. An ideal setting to give your studies a prestigious touch!

  • Villenave d'Ornon site (Institute of Vine & Wine Science)

    A resolutely-modern place for wine studies and research.

  • Mérignac site (Evering Institute)

    Evering offers a range of academic programmes in life cycle management for the aerospace and transport industries.

  • Bayonne site

    In the heart of Bayonne's historical district, this branch of the Physical and Sporting Activity Faculty offers programmes in sports management, in particular in the field of board sports.

  • Pey-Berland site

    The Pey-Berland site near the Saint André cathedral in the heart of Bordeaux is a building complex dating back to the late 19th century, that houses the Legal and Judicial Centre (PJJ).

  • Connected campus sites

    The University of Bordeaux has asserted its willingness to promote access to higher education in Aquitaine through connected campus sites. (in French)
