The RoboCup is the world's largest robotics and artificial intelligence competition.
For more than 20 years, this event has been bringing together more than 2,500 competitors, the best researchers in these fields and thousands of visitors in a different country every year. Co-organized by the University of Bordeaux and its partners, the Région Nouvelle-Aquitaine, Bordeaux Métropole and the Bordeaux academic region, the 26th edition took place from July 4 to 10, 2023 in Bordeaux.
Visitors were able to attend competitions featuring soccer, life-saving and household robots, as well as take part in joint events: educational activities, workshops and round-table discussions on AI and robotics, addressing the themes of research and innovation, education, ethical and societal issues, and ecological transition.
The 26th edition of the RoboCup is now closed, a great success that brought together over 15,000 participants, including 2,500 competitors from 45 countries around the world.
